Tangier Island, NA-083, will be activated July 23-25 in conjunction with the RSGB IOTA contest. Most of the team will arrive on Friday, July 23rd. Team members will be coming in by boat and aircraft to begin setting up in the early afternoon, and should be QRV Friday evening ahead of the contest. From July 24 to 29 members of JSDXC, namley BA4TA, BA4RC, BA4RS, BA4RN, BA4WI, BA4RB, BA4TB, BA4VE, BH4REQ, BH4ROO, BD4REB, BD4RPJ, BG4RQJ, BH4RLO and BD5RV will activate Pingtan Island AS-138 on HF and VHF. During IOTA contest they will be using B4R/5. Before and after the contest, they will use homecall/5 on HF also 6m, 2m and 70cm EME/satellite. QSL’s via homecalls while B4R/5 via BA4TB.

Max DK1MAX, Miro OM5RW, Tomi OH2BEN, Pertti OG2M and Marko OH3XR will be active from Kumlinge Island, Aland Islands (EU-002) between July 21 – 27, IOTA contest included. Look for them on 80-2m. QSL’s via H/C.

Operators VA1CHP, VA1YL, VE1ENT, VE1DHD, VE1FA, VE1MR, VO1NO and VY2OX will activate Whitehead Island, NA-014 (NB Province South Group) as VC9A from 23 – 26 July on CW+SSB on 80-6m. Participation in IOTA contest. It is also Canadian CISA #NB-010.

Wieslaw, SP1EG Klaus, DH1PRA Timo, DK9WE (SO1WE) Jens, DL3ALF Ulf, DL5AXX Dan, DL5SE and Daniel, DL5YWM will be QRV from Wolin Island (EU-132) during the upcoming IOTA Contest with the special callsign SN1A. QSL via SP1EG (direct or via bureau).

OZØFR will be active in the IOTA Contest 2010 from Rømø (EU-125). The island counts also for the Danish Islands Award as NS-001 and for the WFF-Award as OZFF-004.
